I read somewhere that it was cancelled, is this true?

I think so, there is a temp cfw for the HEN R2 now, I think thats why. Finally cfw for the 3000-but if you fully shut down the PSP, you have to go through the painfull process of trying to get HEN to load and then your away with loading it into cfw. google "Custom Firmware for psp 3000" there is a site with a download and threads about it too, some say its all ok and some say its got problems
