Issues with Recovery Mode

Hi
I've got one of those champagne gold PSP 1000s, running on 3.02 OE-B. I'm trying to restore it back to 1.5.

I have the game/recovery/eboot.pbp folder set up correctly (I think), and I've managed to get the PSP to recovery mode, but once I'm in recovery mode it doesn't seem to want to cooperate.

Basically, I've got the purple screen with all the options, and I can scroll through them, but when I press the O button (this being a Japanese model) to run the 1.5 firmware, I get no response. Otherwise, everything works fine. I can go to and from recovery mode with no problems, my battery is remaining charged, and I'm not getting any kind of crazy screens of death or what have you.

Does anyone know what the problem might be? Id really appreciate your help. Thxz
