so i got littlebigplanet for psp for christmas, and while i was happy to get it, i was deeply saddened by the fact that i had to upgrade to official firmware (you can imagine the pain i'm in, for sure). I guess what im asking is, is it possible to play games that require 6.00 official firmware on a psp with CFW 5.00 M33? any help will be greatly appreciated. I just wanna play military madness and metal slug again!

but will it work on the 5.00 M33 firmware as well? or do i have to use gen firmware? and if i do have to use gen firmware, can i just install it on my psp with 5.00 m33 already installed, so i don't have to use a pandoras battery again?

think it works on 5.00m33-6, you can install gens from 5.00m33-6 without pandora just download the links i gave and no they will not load from 5.00m33 you have to do the -6 update.
if your psp online and you do network update it will download 5.00m33-6 when you on 5.00m33 thats how i did it first time you can run it straight away or like an iso game make sure battery fully charged and power pack in and switched on

UMD'S are meant to be run in your psp UMD slot,,, you cant run a UMD like you would run an .ISO.
http://www.pspcrazy.com/forums/psp-help-...r-computer.html i think you should start there.
and if the iso is too big for your memory stick then you cant play it obviously.
unless you know a magical way to create a UMD lol.
if i understand right you want to play your UMD but you have custom firmware 5.00 m33 and the game asks you to update so you cant play ?
If thats the case then all you need to do is update your custom firmware 5.00 m33 to the latest 5.50 Gen d3, then the game will play fine ( altough i have not tryed with a UMD , but it worked fir me from an ISO on my memory stick )
ALso dont forget to enable the UMD driver in your recovery menu since you are playing from a UMD ( Hold R when you power on the psp to go in recovery mode )
