I haven't been around here in awhile, and I haven't touched a PSP in a long time.
I just bought an old 1001 model, some sort of firmware to allow games to be played from the mem. stick.
My question - Awhile back, people were saying anything above a 4GB MS Pro Duo was a bad thing, as it had a tendency to crash. Now I hear Sony made a 32GB?
Is that still true? If so, why did Sony make a larger one?
And I found a MicroSD to MS Pro Duo adapter on eBay. (Won't post the link in case it breaks the rules, but easy to find). That claims to allow one or two MicroSD cards to be used simultaneously on Pro Duo-compatible devices.
Is this alright to use? I have a spare microSD card, and they do seem to be cheaper.
If not, what is a good size to buy? I have a 1GB and a 2GB, was hoping to get a 4GB or bigger though.
Also, what's the best brand/place to get them? (eBay ones, are they fakes?)
i have a photofast with 2 8gig i have had no real problems until i upgraded to gen-d3 and tried to play avatar, the game loads ok but when it starts into the play screen it freezes and restarts the psp. i tried it with an 8 gig duo works fine. any ideas why?
At the moment D3 has a few issues, So I think your problem is more to do with the firmware than anything else. Remember that it is only a Beta release, so there will be an update shortly to cure known issues.
