Hey guys i have been reading and looking for an answer but cant seem to find one exactly to whats specific to my needs..

i have an original PSP1001.
I sent it out to a friend of mine last year to "MOD" it and he installed 5.00 M33-4 onto it. problem is i just turned it on today to download one of the free games thats PSN was giving away and the game wont work...

here are my questions:
is there something i can do to make these game downloads work?
is there an updated version that i should download?

the memory stick had hellcats recovery flasher and PSPident 0.4

problem is since i didnt mod it i have no idea where to even start. also he put these 2 programs on a 512mb stick.. i just bought a 8gig stick which is blank other than the game i downloaded onto it... do i need to have these 2 software's onto the new memory stick? if i do can i just like drag and drop them to the new memory stick?

Thanks for the help guys.. if i cant get it to work ill prob just try to reflash it to the OEM design
