My friend just bought Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker and is on 5.00 M33-6.

We use Yoshiro's v4 game decryptor + UMDGen 4 to decrypt games for use with 5.00 M33-6:

He told me this isn't working for Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker.

The new version of the decrypter does 5.50 to 6.00 firmware games (think MGSPeacewalker is 6.02), but everything I read says it is only good for 5.50 Gen users and not 5.00 M33-6.

Questions:
1. Does the new decrypter patch games for use with 5.00 M33-6?

2. Are there other ways to patch games for use with 5.00 M33-6 we could try that might work? Need to look up Eboot Exchange, Prometheus, ISO Tool

3. Should we upgrade CFW? I read 5.03 GEN-C onward auto decrypts games up to 6.20 OFW.

If we do update to GEN CFW, we can just use my pandora battery to go back to 5.00m33-6 right? Yes, we can also can use Hellcat's Recovery Flasher

4. I think tutorial should work for us:

5. Also was wondering if there is a way to upgrade or change the Despertar Cementerio used with the Ultimate Pandora Memory Stick (I go up to v4, wanna use v8)?

6. Should I just scrap the UPMS and just use Despertar Cementerio v8? I ended up making another mem stick for using DCv8 (for being able to do the slim 2nd mobo revision UMPS can't do), so I now have both.

E Boot exchange - this will convert a working title from 5.50 to 5.00m33 (so if it works on Gen use this to make it work on 5.00m33

Prometheus - most new games need the KHBBS folder and prx files, prometheus makes the games work without these files
