hi i have a psp 1000 with cfw 5.02 gen-a and first things first i dont want to downgrade i like this cfw

im trying to run final fantasy 8 & 9 they are both multidisk eboots (all disks in one file) and both black out after i select new game so im trying to install popsloader because i heard it resolves the issue and i really dont have a clue what im doing wrong ive tried lots of times it shows in the recovery menu but it doesnt work at all and can someone tell me the best firmwares to get for it can someone please help me and some methods tell me to use psardumper first and i keep having a problem with that it says i need 2.71 or higher
