I recently got a new psp 1.50 firmware and was wondering if anyone could help me with which updates I need to install in order to get to 5.50 Gen-D2/3.

I searched all over this forum and could not find a guide for it, so any help would be appreciated, thanks. :)

update to 3.52 M33
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1210 (there is a readme included in the download)
When this is done, update to 5.00 M33
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1570
5.50 GEN-A
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1745
GEN-B
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1764
GEN-B2
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1816
GEN-D
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1840
GEN-D2
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1841
GEN-D3
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1873

once you get the first one done you will understand how to do the rest. just use the readme file in the first step, it will tell you everything you need to know to get the rest of the steps done.

put the 5.00 eboot file in root of ms, and put the update file in the game folder. psp game update. make sure there is only one folder sometimes the update has 2 folders. psp-game-udate-files. like that.

it says the same thing. i have 3.52 m33 on my psp right now. should i just update to 3.52 m33-3? i can run it no problem. its just that when it finds 500.PBP and tries to load it, it said it cant run becuase my psp needs firmware 3.42 m33-3 or above.

ok i'm going to have you try one more thing, i have read that this will work but have not tried it myself. get the very last file that i posted for gen-d3 put that in your game folder and put the 550pbp in your root and try to run that. i read that it will update from the version you have but have not tested it. also make sure you format your memory stick before you try these steps. keep me posted.

haha...ok. i upgraded to 3.52 M33-4. now i tried to upgrade to 5.00 and it says incorrect 500.pbp file. when i downloaded the 5.00 update, it only had one EBOOT.PBP in there. there wasnt a file named 500.PBP. where do i get that?
