Hi my battery has arrived, can I make a magic stick from my 4GB?

I cannot use a USB connection for the PSP as it not working

I'm running vista on my laptop so can use the memory stick adaptor.

Is there a guide on what to do in my situation, everyone I find says hook up via USB

Thanks

if you do not have a usb connection the only way to make a mms is by using that. you will have to find somebody that has a psp with a working usb to make your stick. my question is, why bother modding the psp if you are not going to be able to put games on it? the only way to do so is via the usb port. sounds like you are going to have to take the psp apart and bridge the fuse for the usb.

Now that is bs. I never use my USB port to put games on my memory stick, way too slow. I have an internal port and I use that to put games on the stick.
To the OP: I don't know if you can make a magic memory stick via the MS-port, but I wouldn't use a 4 GB stick anyway, they are too big and can cause problems. MMS work best when under 2 GB big. But you could try, either it works or it doesn't, if it doesn't work, no harm done.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

if you would pay attention to what i said you would not say it was BS. read it again, i said how are you going to put games on it? with a question mark. i didnt imply that he couldn't i was asking if he could. alot of people don't have an mms card reader, making that the only way he could write to it. i stand by my suggestion to take it apart check the fuse for the usb and bridge it. then its fixed and no worries.

That question implies he cannot do it with a card reader, so you then asking him why he's bothering.
