Hey guys!

I have bought a pandora battery today (Hot wire) to boot my PSP Slim into service mode and install custom firmware (or whatever is needed to run homebrew games).

I have assembled it and everything, but when i put it into my PSP.. nothing happens. It wouldn't even turn on. The green light doesn't turn on or flash, as if there was no battery inserted..

I have been reading around the internet all day today trying to get it working. I have even made my original battery into a pandora battery using tutorials, but even that just boots it to normal mode.. :(

Anyone got any ideas on how i could get that working?

Cheers guys!

Nothing happens..

You mean take out everything, put in memory card, then hold the button and put in the battery? if yes, then its still the same, nothing happens.

Interesting that you used a tutorial off of ehow instead of a psp community site.

First off, what version motherboard do you have? Some slims simply cant be turned to service mode with a Pandora battery (TA-088v1 I believe is the model). Also, is your battery charged? Although its not meant to play games it still requires a charge to work...that should explain why your psp wont at least cut on.
