I apologise if this is in the wrong forum.

Ok, today I bought a PSP Slim and I was hoping I would be able to use a pandora's battery and magic memory stick to hack it. I have another PSP Slim and the pandora and mms worked perfectly on that without any problems, but for some reason the same pandora and memory stick won't hack the new one.

When I put both in only the green power light shows, and nothing happens. I've tried pressing the L and R buttons down, but that doesn't help either.

I searched for some help on a few other sites, and I heard something about a certain motherboard for the PSP not being able to be hacked, so I was wondering, is there any way to find out if my new PSP has it?

So, could anyone please help me with this? Thanks in advance.

PSPident will tell you which mobo you have. You can search for that on the forum or google it.

Hi - i am having a similar problem with my blue led pandora battery

i've bricked my psp and need to get it working with the battery but it wont turn on my psp- or my nephews psp in normal mode.

I put the memory card in and then the pandora battery with the lights flashing but it wont turn onm, i've tried doing things like holding the L or R button down but no luck
