I'm just asking did you buy the battery from Datel(Codejunkies). Because the description about your battery sounds like the Datel made.

If so, it only supports PSP 2000 and 3000. Its Called

PSP MAX Power Digital - Universal Mode Battery
.

Here an image of the battery...

There are too many families that shop at Wal-Mart just to buy new shit and then run to the restrooms to get rid of their old shit. Stinky... Stinky!!

Okay, I researched the web, and found that those battery do work for PSP-1000 and PSP 2000.

So the only thing that comes to mind that you might not have the Magic Memory card installed with all the necessarily files need to unbrick the PSP.

Reinstall the files again, because you have to have the files installed correctly to have the service mode to appear.

Good luck,

Grand Varange

by the way... I'm just telling you, if you didn't know yet?

That to get the battery into service mode, you will have to press the push button on-top of the battery. If you didn't its just acting as regular battery!

Good luck with the unbricking,

Grand Varnage
