Hi
I just made a pandora set. I tried it on my PSP Phat and it worked fine. And when I tried it on my friend's brick psp,it won't boot! I tried remaking the MMS and using another battery but to no avail. The Green LED lights up for 3 seconds and dies. I tried leaving it for 5min but it just won't start. Any thoughts?

Is it a slim? - can it be hacked, if it has a v3 board then it is a permanent brick

Nope - you mentioned your was a Phat!

I have only had issues with old MMS makers, the later programs seem to work better. I have had one that refused to pandora for ages, but then just worked. Put the memory card in and out several times to make sure the contacts are clean

How did it get bricked in the first place, was he trying an upgrade or could the unit be damaged some other way.

Sorry. I just read your post again. As of my knowledge, MS requirement is NOT MORE THAN 8gb

Well as if I know, by default, 8gb isn't supported up until a certain update. just can't remember from which one. In short, try using a MS <=4gb
