Sorry to do this but I am taking down all of my guides.
My original post for the reason I am doing this has been edited. Most of this stuff can be obtained by doing some research.
There are some here that have a good handle on the scene so hopefully someone else will step up to the plate and resume where I have left off.
Its been a nice ride and hope the best for all.

hello, im having problems with this. i get to the part where im supposed to go to RUN PROGRAM AT /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP, but then the screen goes blank and shuts off after a few seconds. i donno whats going on

Make sure you have the RECOVERY folder in correct directory.

It should work. Try following the guide again. If it doesn't work then you will need to use Pandora method. But I see no reason why it shouldn't if you can get into recovery mode.

no idea, its the psp though, i tried the files on a friends psp with the same stats except his is slim, and it worked on his. the file just doesnt load

Go to recovery menu and then configuration and make sure the kernel for GAME folder is set to 4.XX NOT 1.50 then try running it again.

Thankyou so much!! Worked flawlessly:D I've had a semi brick for a few months now and was thinking about going to pandora way, until i did some more googling and came across this!
Anyways thx alot i now have a working psp again=)
(stupid xmb editor effed it up)

Did you ever get a resoultion to this other than using the magic memory stick and pandora battery to re-do it? i'm having the exact same issue and have tried a dozen other manuals but everytime i get in the recovery menu and try and lanch "RUN PROGRAM AT /PSP?GAME?RECOVERY/EBOOT.PSP" it lanches and just shows a black screen and then shuts off 10 secs or so later. anyone have any ideas?

i try it and nothing happens, no black screen or anything. it just stays at the recovery menu. i don't know what to do now

my psp would only turn for a few seconds then it turns off.. but i did what i had to download and keep holdigng r before turning on and nothing happens .... i just tried downrading my psp to 1.50 and it bricked ... how could downgragrading mess the whole thing up tell me what do i need to fix it

Hi, I need some help, I tried to get CFW 3.71m33 on my PSP 2003 (SLIM) as i was doing this i think i semi-bricked my psp, i think this because my psp xmb is not displayed and only my backgroung is displayed and the time. also when i put UMD's in the drive they do not launch, what can i do.

omfg! i've been at this all day. nothing is working. i was playing nfs when my CW cheat menu came up on it's own and froze my psp so i shut it down manually and i lost functionality of my buttons. i can disable the vsh menu which let's me control the psp but i don't have the ability of my cfw. i have cfw 5.00 m33-6 and this hellcat's program does start up but i can't use any buttons to agree. is there anything i can do?

O. I had the same exact problem as you where it only displays date, time, and battery and shuts off after 3 seconds. Then I tried the hellcat flasher with with 3.71m33 and it didnt work, but then I tried the 4.01m33 instead and it worked. So try that.
