i was running firmware 5.00 m33-4 and everything was going ok . until i tried adding a iso in the iso folder then my pc and psp couldn't read my card. now im having trouble formatting my card and making a magic memory stick with psp grader or rain mm.
also i thought i had fixed my card and tried rebooting the 5.00 m33 on my psp with my pandora battery but it said it was corrupted and now my psp won turn on normally i think its bricked
any help would be greatly appreciated

wow...for starters whats the size of your memory stick and is it an official magic gate stick or some off brand? If its fake...that can easily be your problem since they have a hard time keeping up with data transfers and stuff. Also, the size can be a problem as well. The recommended size is 512 to on 1gig for a magic stick

hey thanks for replying i have a 4 gig sony card i think it may be fake but not completely sure. but i tried using another 1 gig sony card that i knew 100 percent is real to try to make a mms but rain maker or psp grader kept geting errors while making the card, saying ipl couldnt get injected.
is there another program tht works well in making a magic stick?
also is there a way to properly format the card without the psp becouse i heard that using windows format is bad?
and my computer is having a hard time reading the card usuing its memory card reader is it best to buy an axternal card reader?

If your memory stick was working fine before, regardless of rather its a fake or not its probably safe to say its good to use. I had my 4 gig for sometime now and its a fake and works just as well as a real one. So long as its been working for you I wouldn't stop using it for normal game play.

As far as it messing up, are you sure you put an ISO on it and not the files in an iso? I've done the latter and its F'ed up my stick to the point I had to reformat it on the computer and then turn around and reformat it on the psp. So if thats your issue I would try use your comp to reformat the stick and then do it again with the console.

Yeah, I got a link in my youtube account some where, just give me a few and i'll re-post to the method I used to get my Pandora and Magic stick.

One more question though, does your psp still work fine without the memory stick?

hey crisis -x thank you very much for taking the time to hep me
i have finaly unbricked my psp the problem was of 2 things my built in card reader was crappy also my memory card
so i bought a new external card reader and 4 gig scandisk card and i was able to unbrick my psp
also if ur able to link me ur youtube page so i can subscribe to it if u dont mind
