Hey, I have a PSP-3000 on version 6.00 is there anyway i can install some kind of custom firware on it?

to answer your ?, Yes and No.

The PSP-3000 so far is unhackable *permanently. Certain versions of the PSP-2000 are the same. i happen to own a 2000 with TA-085 v1 mobo so i'm safe :)

you CAN run homebrew & emulators on 3000, but only with ChickHEN. As soon as u power off PSP, the effects will be gone. you'll need to do the trick (tiff exploit) from your memory stick every time you want to run chickHEN. The effect therefore is temporary. not a big deal, but its a pain in the butt to do often.


i suggest you search this forum to see a thread where they describe how to run chickHEN 5.03. I'm note sure if 5.03 CFW will allow you to downgrade from your 6.00. A more experienced member should be able to help.

yea i am familiar with the ChickHEN method but the problem here is the firmware 6.00, is it possible to run it on that firmware?
