I tried upgrading my psp 2000 from gen-c to 5.50 gen-d3, it worked all the way till it asked for a reboot & when i did, it never turned back on, even though the power light is still on, after waiting for about 5-10 min i tried switching the power to go on sleep, then power off but still failed. Finally i removed the battery and put it back in and turned it back on but it still only turned the power light on and you cant switch it off without pulling the battery out. My friend said that i might have 'semi-bricked' it & that it can be fixed with pandora battery. I tried using the pandora but it still didn't work, once the pandora is inserted (while holding the right trigger) the power light turns on but the memory stick light never flashes, and the screen is still blank. What has happened and what should i do???
it is not semi-bricked it is fully bricked. gen-c was the most unstable firmware released, and most sites removed it from there download section. you must use a pandora, but you also need a MMS if your friend has a modified console, ask him to make you a MMS using Gen-d3 the put that in yours hold left trigger and put in your pandora. this should solve your problem.
yea i got the same problem. my friend's psp is bricked (just the same like what harry35 said, only green light) i have a psp 5.50 gen d2. So how do i create a pandora battery? i got a spare battery
i tried to create MMS and jigstick battery with a psp phat 3.71 m33-4
but when i tried to run "Pandora's Battery Creator" from the Memory Stick section of the GAME menu, it says this game could not be started. so whats the problem?
