Hi guys, I know this is a question that has been asked over the last several months. The reason I'm asking, however, is to get the most up to date information. I'm looking to get a PSP and like many, I'm currently deciding between 2000 vs 3000. I know the 3000 has a couple display quirks that can be adjusted by simply setting the display to normal mode, thus making both comparable. However, from what I've read, the 3000 is slightly physically nicer, though there isn't a major difference.

Assuming I can get one or the other for the same cost, which model would you guys choose, keeping in mind custom firmware, playing ISOs, homebrews, etc? I know the 3000 wasn't hackable until recently, but that said, is it still a major pain in the a**? If you guys were to have both models in front of you, which would you take?

Thanks guys.

Hi , the psp 2000 is shipped the last 6 month(i think so) with the

v88-c board and no way to use pandora only the chickHEN and CFE

method(same on 3000)

if u can get u`r hands on a psp 2000 that is flashable with pandora i

would take the psp 2000 , if not take the 3000 so u have a buildt in

micro for free

Sorry, I hadn't really seen much about Pandora, just Custom Firmware. In doing a quick search, Pandora is piece that allows you to downgrade the newer models of PSP to a hackable firmware version. It looks like a memory card / battery combo... Is this just to allow the hacks that were previously only available for model 2000 and prior?

Could someone tell me the benefit of Pandora w/ 3000 over no Pandora w/ 2000? The websites for Pandora seem to only mention that it allows downgraded firmware.
