I had my cousins PSP-2001 modded (I did it a long time ago) - and now his mom went out and bought him Little Big Planet (I don't know why...) and it installed firmware 6.00 on his PSP (I'm assuming it removed the mods). So now I want to just confirm that all the old mods are now gone, and that if they are, is there a way to downgrade PSP-2001 with firmware 6.00 and then re-mod it?? If there is, can someone advise me on what to do - or advise me to the right forum (I read a couple but they didn't specify exactly PSP-2001/6.00 firmware).
I also would like to know how to upgrade my PSP's firmware (I haven't used it for a long time), It has the M33-2 3.90 firmware and I want to update it to the latest, I would appreciate it if someone could direct me to what I should do..
For the downgrade you need a Pandora battery and a magic memory stick. Google for the magic memory stick maker, there are alot around. For the pandora, go to http://www.dealextreme.com For your PSP with 3.90 M33, go to http://www.psp-hacks.com , get Custom firmware 5.00 M33 and then 5.50 GEN-D3 and you are up to date.
