I have a psp running cfw 5.00 m33-6 (fat 1000) and a slim psp 3000 running 5.03 gen c with chickhen. I can no seem to be able to play any backup games via ad hoc between the two psps. Is this due to the CFW? should i update my m33-6 fw to a newer one ie 5.5 gen-d. Would this solve the problem. Please help.

So your issue is trying to playing multiplayer match, on seperate psp using the adhoc feature. Please explain a little bit more and what is the error code.

Are both the wifi switches on the PSP turned on? Have you set up a adhoc network in your network setting prior to playing the game?

I have gen5.50-d3 psp 2002 ad-hoc works fine with backups maybe try updating
