PSP corrupted data

My psp has corrupted data and they told me to press O to repair and set to default settings and i followed. However when i tried to start my games from the memory stick it didnt work all the games cannot be started its say corrupted data. I have a psp 1000 and my firmware is 5.50 Gen-D2. I have tried formatting my memory stick twice and format flash 1 and reset settings but the games still cannot be started. Please help
