Hi, ive been getting the Dadadada error when i try to upgrade 5.50 and ive been reading in some of the other forums on this site about ways to fix it and ways around it... but im a noob with that kind of stuff. I read that i would have to download a recovery file and put it in so and so folder in my psp, it showed up as corrupted data, i also read that i could switch the UMD into ISO, but i have no clue how to do that, if anybody has any suggestions or can fix my problem i would be happy to hear them.
the error is actually saving your a$$... at the moment you are running custom firmware... the 5.50 you're trying to install is OFFICIAL SONY firmware and would completely eliminate you ability to play downloaded/backup games...
before going any further you should research and learn about custom firmware and what you have right now... stop trying to do things you just don't know about and spend a week or two learning what you're actually doing...
well, i found this site where i could upgrade my cfw to 5.50, but i read somewhere else that i need Pandora, i didnt know what that ment till i saw this site, http://pspcustomfirmware.com/features/xg...-pandora-v2.htm , which had an advertisement for Pandora Battery pack/kit. I dont know how a battery pack would let me upgrade my CFW but i think it couldnt hurt (O.o).
