I started using my PSP to transfer files to my new computer, and wanted to speed up the process by clearing the memory stick.
I plugged my psp in, did the usb connection, and backed up the listed files my computer showed. They weren't the usual files, instead I saw folders such as data, dic, font, kd, and vsh.
I ignored it though, copied them all over to my computer, and then deleted them from what I thought was the memory stick. I copied files over, and then unplugged the psp to plug it into my new computer. An error screen came up, which is when I became screwed.
It seems I've bricked it. The power light lights up for a few seconds and then turns off. I can't get the screen to turn on and I can't figure out a way to connect it to my computer to copy the files back over to the psp.
Is there anyway I can copy the files back onto my psp, or is it destroyed?
