PSP freezes after after startup

My PSP freezes after startup and i cant go to that M33 recovery page and the format page.When i turn it on, the sony logo and those swigly wigly lines appears and after that it just freezes and in about 30 seconds it just turns off.Someone help me please

If you can't get into the recovery menu then the only option will be to re pandora the unit. However if it is a hardware failure then ths will not help.
