I have just bought a PSP 1003 model and should be with me in the next day or so. I all ready have a PSP 3000 for legit UMD games. But I bought this 1003 so I can install CFW that enables me to play some old PS1 games. So am wondering if there is any easy up to date CFW installation guide.

I found this guide from this forum but it was last updated in 2009. If everything in that topic is still up to date then am I in thinking all I have to do is this:

1, Update my PSP 1003 to OFW 5.03.
2, Download ChickHEN R2 Easy to load HERE.
3, Copy h.bin to the Memory Stick ROOT .
Copy ChickHEN folder to PSP/PHOTO ( create one if needed )
Navigate to your PHOTOS folder , and enter the ChickHEN folder. And wait, you will see some images, these will start to load thumbnails.Go all the way down to the last image. Your PSP may freeze and reset. Just keep retrying and ChickHEN R2 will load up?.But if you see flashing colors, your PSP will reboot loading the ChickHEN.
4,Download Recovery Flasher 1.60 HERE.
-Download 5.0 OFW HERE.
-Copy the Recovery folder to PSP/GAME .
-Also copy the 5.0 official update renamed as 500.pbp to PSP/GAME/RECOVERY folder .
-Go to GAME and run the program and install 5.0 M33-6 !

In the end , press SELECT while in XMB and change UMD Iso Mode to ''M33 Driver'' or ''Sony NP9660''. I also recommend formatting memory stick. Place your CSO/ISO games to the ISO folder on your memory stick root.

Is this right?
