PSP NesterJ Problem

Hi there. I am pretty new to the mod/emulation scene so be nice to be haha. Anyway I recently had my PSP modded with the 5.50 Gen-B firmware and installed a couple emulators and roms. The SNES emu works fine but the NES one is giving me issues.

Firstly, when I play platformer games such as Mega Man, Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales...etc the main character only half jumps. What I mean by this is that the character doesn't jump up high enough to get onto ledges or over enemies to progress. Now it doesn't do this for all games. Oddly enough Super Mario Bros. 2 works fine.

Secondly, whenever I try to switch playing roms in NesterJ the PSP freezes for about 8 seconds and then shuts itself off.

So those are my issues. I really want to play NES games on my PSP so any information would be greatly appreciated.

What version of NesterJ are you using? I have 5.00M33-6 and i cant get NesterJ to even start. It simply shuts off my PSP.

Actually I just figured out what was wrong with the jumping problem. I also reinstalled NesterJ and that seemed to fix the freezing and turning off issue.

@EEE31: I got the emulator from here:

Scroll to about halfway down the page and it will explain exactly how to install the NesterJ emulator. Follow the instuctions exactly and you shouldn't have a problem. I didn't anyway. Good Luck.
