Hey guys,

I got a psp-1000 for a while and its hacked, and I found there was no sound on it.

This is very anoying to me, but the head phones work, I like playing gta VC and it just sucks having to read all of the english.
(I am french :P)

I do know the Main board was swapped on it. and there is dirt under the screen that is ticking me off,

Is there a way I can fix this sound problem and clean the inside of the screen? thanks guys

taking it apart, do lots of research, cleaning dirt of screen easy, maybe the speakers not making a good contact have you tried default settings.

yep could you give me a link on how to take it apart?
and the speker thing aswell, but i noticed that the wirless does not like to work

http://www.llamma.com/PSP/repair/complete_psp_disassembly.htm here is a guide to take it apart. the wifi and the sound are on the same board, sounds like you need to replace that board. http://cgi.ebay.com/REPAI-WiFi-WIRELESS-...#ht_1786wt_1006 this is an example of the piece you need to replace. i'm sure you can find one in your area.
