PSP only powers on with Pandora

I recently unbricked my PSP PHAT using the magic memory stick \ Pandora battery (hardmodded) method. With the pandora battery and mem stick I can power up the PSP and upgraded the code up the 6.00

However, now the only method I can use to power up the PSP is with the pandora battery. I cant power it up with a regular battery or with the AC adapter.

From what i can tell the PSP power button is inoperable, is there something I missed in a setting somewhere to allow it to boot normally? Or do i possibly have a bad power button etc...

Any help is appreciated.
