First off I will state that I do not know completely what I am doing. I purchased a working PSP Phat from a friend and proceeded to downgrade it to CFW 1.50. I then continued to work with it and used the unbricker to upgrade it to 3.71-m33 2 CFW. I then upgraded it to 3.95 gen and during this upgrade, the PSP reported a failed upgrade and halted for a good 20 minutes. I then pulled the battery out, realizing the second I did that I screwed myself over. I now have a full bricked PSP Phat and have tried a variety of ways to run it with a MMS and Pandora. Some help/advising would be real nice, thanks.
The Pandora battery was purchased. After using Rain's Simple MMS Maker, I tried again. I put the MMS in, hold down left, then put in the Pandora battery. The MMS is real/compatible. Basically what happens is the power light goes green 2-3 seconds after inserting the Pandora battery, nothing else happens. There's no sound, the Mem light doesn't flash, nothing. It doesn't even sound like the PSP has turned on. Is there a chance that I fried some of the inner workings or something?
try just using the 150 classic pandora option on simple mms maker and inject ipl only if u havnt tried that combo already if it dnt work try the 401 or the 500 on the ul
When I used the simple, I basically loaded the 3.80 with the 1.50 kernel and created MMS, the basic 1.50 Pandora has no effect as well. The 5.00 one worked. Thanks a lot for the help, I really really appreciate it. This would be the 2nd PSP I've killed if I didn't fix it =] Somehow managed to blow a fuse on the 1st one.
Ya, the other PSP definitely blew a fuse. The 5.00 MMS+Pandora definitely starts it up and all but it'll sit at 1% before the MS light sparks green before it shuts off on its own. Definitely a fuse problem there. I can fix it with a smoldering iron and all but I'm not too fond of burning myself in the process. Again, thanks for the help and advice.
