what's up. i just picked up a psp yesterday and i'm looking to mod it for CFW and though i've read up on how to do this, i'm unclear on my psp's version number ( i bought one used without a box ) The serial number (bottom barcode) says psp1001 as the last numbers but when i run pspident it tells me" motherboard type: fat 01g motherboard model: ta-081 psp version : fat v2.0"
thanks for the reply! it is nice to know what model it is (and possibly an explanation for why the battery life is so short?) the firmware I have on it is 5.00 m33-6. Possibly an upgrade to firmwares "5.50 GEN-A.-B,-B2" would be in order? My goal is to use Gpsp but the problem is it will not recognize my copy of gba_bios.bin any insight would be greatly appreciated.
