its a 1001 with ofw 5.51 and i can't get it to install any of the loaders can some one poit me in the right direction?

Have you got a pandora battery as this is needed to load from the MMS

Then it can only be the MMS, try getting a more up to date version of the MMS maker, one that takes you straight to 5.50 Gen or 5.00m33, I had to remake my MMS as it would no longer work.

that's the thing i've used alot or installers some make workable files others don't i've tried usin different mms 2 of wich are sony i'm @ wits end here and i thought moddin a xbox 2 avalaunch was hard lmao

The memory stick needs to be Sony or Sandisk 2GB - 512MB

I found Rains to be the best one at making reliable MMS, however I actually purchased my current one (with other bits for the PSP) and takes you straight to 5.50genB2 no need to hold down buttons etc.

i tried rains mms maker again it made the mms with no errors ipl loaded and all and when i use my pandora battery it's a black screen and the power lights stays on no installer so what's the next step because i know all the 1001's are moddable

Insert the MMS, hold down the left trigger (L1)- Then insert the battery while still holding the Left trigger

kool i'll try that i've been @ it most of the night again i barrowed a psp from my dude that is runnin the 5.50 gen b full 2 see if i could make a pandora with pandors battery creator or summin thinkin maybe my battery took a crap but no programs will run on that vista crap on his psp
