Hi all, one of my brothers friends recently tried upgrading his psp unsuccessfully however it seems that he might of deleted one or two files from the psp because for the life of me i cant seem to get it to install the backup 1.50 OFW using hellcat with is the software i believed was used to upgrade the psp in the first place....

He currently has a FAT PSP 1000
it is saying the SS is 3.52 m33 (im guessing its m33-1)

Can somebody please help me out here Iv checked the memory on the PSP and from what i can tell its got loads of random files and folders from where my brothers friends has tried installing numerous types of software/upgraders.... please can some point me in the right direction i modded my own psp slim about 7 months ago using a very good guide so I sort of know what im doing but only if im being guided lol

just reformat the card and then update to 5.00m33

Format the card... do u mean memory stick how would that change anything? My problem is that there are numerous files on the psp's memory itself I went and got the 3.52 m33-4 tired installing it so i could jump to 5.00 m33 after and got nothing it wont work.....

ok Ive managed to upgrade it to 5.00 m33-6 just tried playing pes2010 and got a error code of 80020321.....

ok so iv managed to get it upgraded to 5-50 gen-b it plays some iso's but its not playing PES2010 or Assassins creed bloodlines (error code 80020148), it also not reading umd's tried watching a umd film and it wasnt working....?
Also what is the latest CFW i can upgrade to using a fat 1001 psp someone told me the highest i could go was 5.50 gen-b.... is that right?
