PSX backups freeze on PS logo? Please help!

Ok so I followed the instructions on:

Using the popsloader and the popstation provided there I created an eboot of two different games FF7 disc1 and CC disc1 and both games regardless of what pops I select freeze on the Sony logo, my PSP doesn't lock up I can still access home menu, etc to get out.

I'm running cfw 5.00 m33-6 btw.

the first thing I said was that I followed the instructions in the exact topic which you referred me to =/. Also I tried your eboot maker, same results as psx eboots made with zingaburger's and psx2psp.

anyone have any advice for my particular issue? Is my cfw not PSX friendly? Only other useful info I can think of is that unlike that topic says my psp does not "1st time a game loads it brings up a choice of pops". However when I hold R-trigger when booting the game I get pops choice... Also I did make sure pops is enabled in the plugins... I'm stumped =/

should I downgrade my firmware? Not that I know how but if older cfw run PSX...

Anyways just patiently waiting on anyone that has time to help.

figured it out...

Aftering DL'ing a premade eboot and it working fine it appears I fail at ripping iso's...

Blindwrite 4.whatever I guess is not optimal for the task? At any rate what's with the lack of help here is this a dead board, or am I a noobie unworthy?
