Hello all

I'm going to buy a refurbished fat psp from gamestop today, with hopes of modding it so i can play psx/psp isos

i read that i need a backup battery/pro duo card

but i'm confused..

do i need another psp with 1.5 firmware or custom already?

like, if i just have a pandora battery/magic stick, should i be able to downgrade (etc.) without an extra psp?

the guides i've read say to start with an already modded / 1.5 psp. this makes no sense to me

i'm sorry if this question is a little incoherent.

i'll clarify if need be.
