So i just got this psp second hand. I just got some new game and it told me to update but then it came up with the code dadadada I have been online looking to see how to fix it but i have tryed every thing Please help

why would you want to take off the psp mods ?? that is really not smart... here i will cut/paste my response to another thread similar to yours... most of it applies

the error is actually saving your a$$... at the moment you are running custom firmware... the 5.50 you're trying to install is OFFICIAL SONY firmware and would completely eliminate you ability to play downloaded/backup games...

before going any further you should research and learn about custom firmware and what you have right now... stop trying to do things you just don't know about and spend a week or two learning what you're actually doing...
