Hi. I've bricked a TA-082 slim with OFW 5.0. Happened while hacking using a pandora which accidentally got removed midway through the the process. Have tried to unbrick using DC7 and DC8, but it errors out early in the process. Any suggestions why this is happening?

Before you install the firmware in the DC8 menu, flash/erase your nand. Its one of the options. Reboot, Then install CFW.

Hey thanks for the reply, Darknyte. Problem is when I use DC7 or DC8, nothing comes out in the screen and the USB light just blinks. But using DC4, the menu appears on the screen but when I choose the option to install OFW 3.8 or CFW 3.88 M33, the error - Error opening NANDupdater module appears. BTW, from the DC4 menu, the motherboard is read as TA-85 slim, not TA-82 (sorry bout that). Any ideas?

If u have multiple DCs on a single memory card u could have problems. Each DC should have it's own button you need to hold down while booting. If it's the updater that gives u an error then there must be something wrong with the update eboot.
