Upgrade 2.81 to latest custom firmware

Have decided its time to put some custom firmware on my PSP phat which I've not used for an age which currently has system firmware 2.81 running.

Can someone please point me in the direction of the best tutorial to follow to upgrade to the latest and greatest custom firmware.

if u can, dont run ChickenHen, since it is a buggy firmware, try work on the permanent method...

ChickHen isn't a firmware, it is only a homebrew enabler. With the described method you can enable homebrew to upgrade to a custom firmware.

yeah i got it, i juz suggest the way by downgrading to 1.5 and go up to the latest CFW or using Pandora.
