A while back, I bought a PSP 2000 model off of eBay, which, luckily enough, already had CFW on it. Unfortunately, I was taking it with me to a friend's house and I was riding my bike. I lost balance and fell over on the pocket that it was in. Since then, it's been dead, screen was cracked, didn't boot up, etc. So now I'm looking into buying another PSP, and I obviously want one that I can install CFW on it permanently. So, should I take a gamble trying to buy a PSP 2000 model? Or should I just buy a PSP 1000 with 1.5 firmware?
a phat is always a sure thing, of course 2000's can all be hacked, its just that some of them are not permenant. if you buy a slim stay away from serials that start with HU, and Date Codes that are 8c or above. if i bid on a slim on ebay i ask for these specs, before i bid.
Thank you, that actually helps me out quite a bit. Now I've just got to wait until I have some spending money of my own (holiday season always empties the pocket).
