Quick question:

With all the talk now of SSV2 it looks like the kreon drives are being put out to pasture, and the preferred method is now a 360 drive with 0800 firmware.

Problem is, I'm pretty sure I read in a tutorial that the 6421 SATA card drivers must be installed and enabled for the XBC part of ripping games to work. However, when using jungleflasher to flash 360 consoles, you have to remove the 6421 drivers and use PortIO ones.

Now, as someone who wants to both flash consoles and rip games with the same PC, is there likely to be problems with the presence (or lack) of the 6421 SATA drivers? Will I have to continuously add and remove the drivers, or am I just worrying over nothing?

You will have to remove the drivers to flash and restore them to rip games.

I've created 2 batch files to take care of this for me. 1 to remove the driver and 1 to restore it. PM if you are interested and I can help you out.
