I'm about to buy a 28' 1920X1200 LCD monitor for 360, I heard that the 360 can only go up to 1080, so will it work on the monitor I'm going to buy? Will the image become distorted? This monitor is 16:10.

But I heard that monitor won't put letterbox when you get the 360 on the 1080p setting so the 360 will project skewed image? And I heard the 360 isn't 16:10 compatible? Like it can't do the 1:1 pixel mapping thing.
I would buy one that is 1920 X 1080 or it will not look crisp if it stretches it, just like if you run your computer at a different resolution than the monitors native resolution. If the monitor can be set for 1:1, then you will have letterbox bands at the top and bottom anyway, so what's the point in having it?

I know it's a 24" but I think it would look better and if the 28" letterboxes it, it won't be 28 either.
Great point but I still like that 28' and I ordered it today and it'll arrive on Monday, I mean it can set to 1:1 pixel mapping, but the top and bottom should not be cut off too much right?
