1.91 which CFW to use?

I got a phat liteon that was a 8 series version 1. I understand that after the May update, it is now a DG-16D2S. My issue is that I'm looking at the huge list of CFW that came with the LT1.91 update and I have no idea which file to use.

If you have got the latest LT1.91 from xbins? If so,there should be only 2 firmwares included.

LiteOn_Post_13141

Would recommend you re-download from xbins and select the correct model for your dashboard version.

If you have updated the dash so it reflashes your drive with the new stock firmware (which you should do before flashing with LT+ anyway) then the firmware you want is this as all fat Lite-On drives are 02510C: -

LTPlus-025v1.91.bin

As for original firmware, there is only 1 for the fat Lite-Ons now: -

orig-02510C-1c000.bin

And again, just to clarify - the above is if you have updated your 360's dashboard to the latest version, so that the drive has been flashed with the new stock firmware from MS.

It's divided into subfolders to make it easy. Just pick your drive.

I currently have dashboard 2.0.13146.0 and CFW LT+1.9.

I plan on flashing back to OFW then doing the dashboard update then flashing back to CFW.

Here is my breakdown:
1. flash OFW orig-02510C-1c000
2. update dashboard
3. flash CFW LTPlus-025v1.91
4. done

That sound right?

If you're on 2.0.13146.0, then yep, your drive (and all fat Lite-On drives) has already been updated so it's an 02510C, so those steps are correct.

Also remember that there's no protection against badly patched or unpatched AP2.5 games in 1.91 like there was in 1.9, so make absolutely sure that any AP2.5 games you have are up to date or you'll flag your 360 just by trying to boot one.
