I recently sent in a xbox 360 that was given to me. xbox is going to fix it free, yet i was wondering if i did the 250 gig hd hack, will that flag the new system? Or would it be better to put the 250 gig on the old modded xbox and format the 20 gig for the new console? Thanks guys...

no. never send the HD in with the console, you will not get it back.

The xbox I sent in doesnt have any hd at all, so i was going to buy a case and the 250 gig hd. maybe i should put the big hd on my modded xbox and format the 20 and put it on the new one. Just to be safe right...

I'm not trolling, was just being observant. Anyway, it actually advises that you don't send it with any accessories, so that doesn't necessarily mean you won't get it back...
