250GB Hard Drive Transferring, Help Needed.

Well basically I used an unofficial transfer cable and now my newly bought 250GB HDD shows up as a USB drive when plugged into the Xbox 360 by a transfer cable and it does not show up at all when plugged into my Xbox through the Hard Drive connection part.. Please help, is there anyway I can make my 250GB Hard Drive work on my 360 again.

try formatting it from your computer, if that doesnt help where did you get the cable from? if its from codejunkies try looking in the help section there

It's one of those cheap Chinese knockoffs, I'll return it and get another one along with an official transfer cable. Thanks for responding though.
