Pretty sure it's a layer break problem. Check your layer break settings in ImgBurn. Set it to 1913760.

Man, that's a weird problem. I'm honestly not sure.

Just to take a shot in the dark, have you run the image through ABGX level 3 AutoFix? And it's not a wave 3 patched game to play on 1.4 or below is it?

sounds like to me it is either a bad rip or download, or you need to try a new burner.

It could be the burner, I guess. I am not really sure. Run a burned disc through ABGX and see if it pops up legit. If it passes ABGX, I wouldn't worry.

Well, the answer is quity easy: Imgburn just does not
tell it to you in a way you understand. Actually Imgburn
tries to set the layerbreak. In the log above I can see
that you set the layerbreak correctly in Imgburn.
Therefor yo did nothing wrong. Your recorder just did
not what Imgburn wanted it to do. Therefor you get the
miscompare warning.

By the way: A layerbreak can only be set on plus DL Media.
So if he would have inserted a minus DL Imgburn would not
have tried to set the layerbreak in the first place.

Either your recording firmware has a bug or the medium was
already prerecorderd. That might happen if your try
a simulated write with Imgburn on a plus DL medium
and stop it before the recording acually starts.
Imgeburn always writes to the control zone,
even if one does not want a certain Layerbreak... So
once the recording starts off, Imgburn begins
to record a certain layerbreak.

You could also try out another recording tool, I now
prefer hektosoft hektograph.

Hi, i want to buy a 360, so i got 3 Verbatim's +R DL 8x from a friend, played in a proper flashed 360, 3 coasters. I just ordered 10 more "potential coasters", however if it's possible to avoid this it would be nice. Just ordered them, and results i will post. And it might be a bit hasty not to wait for them and post here now, because i found a few "problems" after i burned the 3rd & last... however i want to know -if possible- what the most likely problem is (or 2, or all).
First, i just got my Pioneer 116d, and downloaded the latest drivers 1.09)AFTER the 3rd burn (i know, plain forgot).
Further the last burn with ImgBurn says that the virtual driver Daemon Tools created MIGHT be a problem (though unlikely?). Removed D-Tools and the driver AFTER the 3rd burn. Also i found the tool ABGX360 Stealth Check, to (repair and?)stealth patch it. Does iXtreme 1.6 accpet non stealth patched games or not? Or only nesseccary for Xbox Live? I know i should wait before posting, my money is on the driver not being up to date as THE problem. The first 2 where burned with CloneCD, layerbreak set correctly, 2 files 1 folder, all names match only extension not (.iso .dvd), last burn with ImgBurn, same, exept proper layer break in .dvd file, however not manually set in program. In both burning tools selected .dvd not .iso.
Here is the log of my last burn with ImgBurn, and the question is: besides the virtual driver warning, ANYTHING else alarming? And what is most likely my problem, and can is ALSO be something else, just to be sure? And does every game MUST be stealth patched or checked to see if it might need repairs? Sry for this haste but me buying a 360 depends on 1 succesfull burn, i need just ONE, so i know -hopefully- most will work. Here is the log and kudo's, coockies and milk, +rep and 10 times thnx (5 now 5 later) for any help, any help is highly apreciated. After one succesfull (and hopefully not many coasters) i'll be sure to post what the problem(s) was, so it might help others. HERE IS THE LOG:

iXtreme 1.51 and above do not support non-stealth games at all. You must run everything through ABGX360 in order to play it on your Xbox, unless you are lucky and download a perfect rip.
