Hi guys

I recently tried to JTag an xbox 360 and got it working. I then tinkered with one of the soldered points (DB1F1)and it messed up. I used an alternative point and ever since then my XBox has shown up 2 Orange (Not Red) error lights (quadrants 2 & 4). This happens as soon as I plug any power brick into the back of the XBox. Also the XBox is unresponsive. I assumed it could be a short somewhere but I'm sure there isn't one anywhere.
Any ideas or if anyone has seen this error code before would be greatful for some responses

Cheers

chris

Its that DAMN db1f1, i did the same and could never get it working again. Keep trying, try the 2 alt points and good luck. (Dont reflash the NAND as your know thats 100%), if you have burned your solder points too much, then your only option is to revert back to original NAND dump sorry.

Hi

I've tried the alternate points and it doesn't get rid of it. When my soldering snapped away from the DB1F1 point i carefully scraped the green stuff away from the DB1F1 point to expose more of the pad. I was mega careful and was sure i had not over done it. Ever since then this problem has occured. Could I have somehow shorted the point ? I was under the impression that it was at the very end of a track. I've soldered at one of the alternative points under the board but the error is still there. I'm gutted as it is a Jasper and potentially 100 quid down the drain. I'm no PCB expert by any stretch of the imagination but i'm good at following instructions. LOL. Is there any way of cutting the track to DB1F1 thus taking it out of the game or is it screwed if somehow grounded.
I'm on the verge of sending it back to Micro$haft under warranty and hoping they don't look too closely.
I'd love to be able to fix it though (to redeem myself)

Any more ideas would be great guys

Hi

I've just got the xbox back after sending it to someone who offered to have a bash at fixing it. No Joy. They couldn't get their head around it. On observation now the lights are 2 red lights (Not Orange) with non of the J-Tag wiring soldered on. (Pretty sure it was 2 Orange lights with the J-Tag wiring present) I'm positive that the fault is with the DB1F1 point but have absolutely no idea how to fix it.
Also last time i tried 1 week ago i'm pretty sure I couldn't detect flash controller after this error had started. I'm gonna have a rest off this box for a few days then tinker some more.

Any ideas guys

Your best bet is connect back up to LPT & try flash back original NAND. Good luck
