My question is my 360 has started freezing up with the hard drive in it runs good for now without it. I have read up on this most points to heat issue. Do you think I should try to get it repaired(unit is over 3 years old) are will it must likely give me problems again. Are try a new model, are they made better now? Its modded so sending it to microsoft is not a option for repair I will have to find someone online. Thanks for your input.

i personally would look into the cost of a repair before making up my mind, i have two 360s both are over 3 yrs old and both have broke down in the past, i chose to get mine reflowed at the time of breakage and both run spot on now with no problems whatsoever and the guy who did the reflow offered me a lifetime guarantee so that was the best choice for me.
