I know this is probably a dumb question, and I might get yelled at but I'm being serious but im a noob at 360s.

here's my problem. I don't have the money to put into a 360 hard drive, but I don't really care about playing games from the hard drive. I just want to be able to save my games on one of my old PC SATA hard drives. I have the SATA adapter from the HD caddy and it fits right into the plug from it.

if I do have to mod it, is it that expensive? i have a daughter on the way in a month and I'm not spending any extra money on things like games...I'll just get a memory card or 20gb hard drive or something.

It will only work if the HDD you have is a WD BEVS/BEVT drive 2.5 sata lappy drive.
