I have a flashed Xbox 360, however I do not know the firmware. I am unable to play any backups now, but originals do work. This all started when I tried to burn Major League Baseball 2k11. I received the error where it just says play dvd. Now I get the same error for all of my back ups. For example, Madden 11 and NHL 11 worked fine, but I tried to play them both today and all I am getting is play DVD. If anyone has any insight I would really appreciate it.
Remember that big system update that took 10 minutes to download and install? Yea, that's why. If you have a modded Xbox, you really should bookmark a site like this to stay up on recent events, especially if you play on Xbox Live. Anyway, you can download the latest firmware (1.9) if you have a lite-on 7 or 8 series, samsung or benq. If you do not own one of those drives, you will need to wait for update that pertains to your drive.
The lite-on 93850c might even be supported. Not 100% on that.
@Aiur: I have the same problem about 2-3 weeks ago. I just downloaded L.A. Noire and i really want to play with it. I have about 10 original games. Is there any solution for this? And can you send me a link please? I dont really know these things :/
