74850c Serial data bad?

I've just recently purchased the ck3pro rev and the probe III, I looked around for instructions for my model and stuck on getting the key. I have installed the USB drivers needed because I'll be using that method instead of com serial connection and under the device manager my USB is recognized. I have done the power switch trick and have the drive half way. IN JF under the DVDkey32 tab everything looks like it's ready for action, so i press down the probe to R707 and hit the dvdkey32 I keep getting serial data is bad. I looked through many forums yesterday looking to see what I'm missing or doing wrong. Here's my JF dvdkey32 tab status

Yeah i do, That's how i get my stuff to show under type and name. If i chose the wrong one it would of been blank.

the new probe 3 is always lit, unless i press down on the button on the cable to stop power from going to it

Yeah on the top where i put dvdkey32 tab you can see that my drive is recognized as it's suppose to be. I saw vids on youtube and it's the same, take this one for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuEIzy23Y6M&feature=related if you skip to 3:43 everything looks the same on my screen except under com properties name mines says XCUTER CK3 PRO USB which i assume is good.

have you installed the Drivers?

you HAVE to have the drivers installed, i remember finding them and them working, but i don't remember where, it was on Maximus' sites though

now has this drive been flashed to LT Before,if so u cant get the key off unless u do the mra hack or others method

Google search "PMT Probe" this is BY FAR the easiest way to get ANY phat liteon drive key. it costs about $5 to make (a switch, a sewing maching needle, some extra wire, and an optional LED) and I have yet to fail when trying to extract a key from a liteon.

I have done 7xxx, 8xxx v1(tray was broken. Getting it to do the 'half open' method was a nightmare), 8xxx v2, and 9xxx. All of them work with 0 issues.
