[help] Can't download stuff off xbox live?

Hi, for some reason i can't download anything off xbox live, like map packs and so on. it start but it keep stop and then said it was an error. is there a way i can fix this? i try to test my xbox live connection work perfectly. i am currently using my laptop as a router to connect to the internet. since i have wireless connection in my house and i don't have the wireless thingy for my xbox 360. Everytime the xbox failed to download, its said xbox 360 doesn't detect a harddrive and its restart the console, after that its send me to E68. Today i tried to download a 40mb videos and it work, but the map pack still doesn't work. help please. thank you

The E68 error is a Harddrive error so there could be a lot of different problems with it.

First try to format the entire hard drive. Then take your HDD out and try playing and connecting to the internet, just to know that your console is not the problem.

It could also mean that your HDD is not updated. You can go to the following site and follow the steps to update via USB/DVD/CD.

If it?s still under warranty from the store you got it from, then bring it back and get a new one, if not then contact Xbox/Microsoft Customer Support.
